Shape:
Slide Box (length 5m, wide 45cm)
A - Slide box (length 7m, wide 25cm)

Characteristic:
New rails in the Acrobat Park were designed for continuous increase numbers of snowboarders and freeskiers. Rails were designed (by M. Langer) in accordance with highest standards and last trends, made from high-quality materials by well experienced company, which has made all the rails in the ski and snowboard center Dolni Morava.
The shapes of all the known rails are different. We have decided to choose the well checked shapes. The SLIDE BOX is mainly meant to be used by beginners, therefore it’s wider and it allows riding thru even riders which never tried the rail before. The A - SLIDE BOX is meant to be used for little bit more experienced riders, which already have all the basics under control. Here you will ride all the 3 angles (up, straight and down). So it will test your skill and then you can try all kinds of tricks in all these angles.
We have decided for boxes with 2 different widths. It’s way better for learning and also for the jibbing itself.
Ramp:
Steel supporting base construction with wooden inrun (higher inrun for A - SLIDE BOX) with very calm and easy to ride transition. It’s covered with green ski mats and automatic water system. The transition from the ramp to the rail is also very gently designed.
Anchoring and fitting up:
Mounting the rail to the ground of the pool wasn’t easy. The height of the water is 4m and rails another 1,5m above the water. The rail itself is very narrow and needs very strong support at the bottom of the pool to ensure the stability of the rail. All these construction works were designed, planed and made well ahead of time before filling up the pool. Except the rails. We had to install huge steel basis which are holding the legs of the rails. For higher safety all these legs are still under the water. The legs of the rail part are split in to 3 pieces (1 in the bottom, 1 in the water and 1 above the water). To make all this fit together was the hardest part and the expectations were high. Since all the parts were made as a single parts and all the assembling was made with divers and crane, a little inaccuracy could be fatal. Finally all the parts fit together as a Swiss watch and we are all railing, jumping off and jibbing. It’s a beautiful peace of work.

Don’t hesitate and come to try out.
Jibbing forever
Acrobat Park Team.
